Well, we'll be trying to reproduce it.

1. We need some more info to try to reproduce:

   - PC's OS - ?
   - Camera firmware - ?
   - FPS = 24?
   - Image dimensions and size - 1920x1088, 100-150KB?
   - Mplayer version (let's stick to mplayer)?
   - During that 5-10 sec of working the window with image opens, right? or
   it just crashes not showing anything?

2. Some things that you could try:

   - Does mplayer act the same if you boot from our LiveUSB?
   - Check the CPU usage on the camera - "top" or "ps" from the telnet
   session - could also you send us this info?
   - Your PC/laptop CPU usage?
