Andreas,

You may need to set the limit for autoexposure (AUTOEXP_EXP_MAX) so the
exposure time will not exceed the frame period. The videostream is not
designed to have variable frame rate, and if autoexposure sets time longer
than 1/fps - the frame rate will have to drop lower.
