Andrey,

Thanks a ton, I looked over the pdf and understand exactly what you are saying… I will be using my own POE injector inside my circuit so I can be assured the polarity will always be correct.

Shane,
You may use circuit diagram on our wiki page http://wiki.elphel.com/index.php?title=10353 - it links to this PDF file http://wiki.elphel.com/images/2/27/10353e.pdf

You may easily locate the CR2 - it is on the same side as the network connector, not far from it. CR2 has 4 pins - 2 of them are marked with "+" and "-", two others are inputs form the network cable contacts. The easiest modification will be to connect straight "+" and "-" both to the opposite without crossing. In that case network connector contacts 7 and 8 will become "+" of the power, and 4,5 - "-". If you cross over the jumpers - the polarity will be opposite.

If you do such modification you need to make sure that the polarity of the power applied to the camera is correct. I would double-check it with the multimeter - make sure that "+" on the diode bridge rings to 7,8 on the connector and "-" - to 4,5 (if you use straight connection). And then verify that your power source has "+" and "-" on the selected cable pins.
