just checked and realized i didn't send last mail i wrote... sorry.

---------------------

i changed this and now it looks better:

# mii-diag
Using the default interface 'eth0'.
Basic registers of MII PHY #0: 3100 786d 000e 7237 01e1 cde1 0009 0000.
 The autonegotiated capability is 01e0.
The autonegotiated media type is 100baseTx-FD.
Basic mode control register 0x3100: Auto-negotiation enabled.
You have link beat, and everything is working OK.
 Your link partner advertised cde1: Flow-control 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx
10baseT.
   End of basic transceiver information.

Using the new SIOCGMIIPHY value on PHY 0 (BMCR 0x0000).
 The autonegotiated capability is 01e0.
The autonegotiated media type is 100baseTx-FD.
Basic mode control register 0x3100: Auto-negotiation enabled.
You have link beat, and everything is working OK.
This transceiver is capable of 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx 10baseT-FD
10baseT.
Able to perform Auto-negotiation, negotiation complete.
 Your link partner advertised cde1: Flow-control 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx
10baseT.
   End of basic transceiver information.

 MII PHY #0 transceiver registers:
   3100 786d 000e 7237 01e1 cde1 0009 0000
   0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000
   0140 002d 0f00 47dd 2882 0000 0000 0010
   0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000.
Basic mode control register 0x3100: Auto-negotiation enabled.
 Basic mode status register 0x786d ... 786d.
   Link status: established.
   Capable of 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx 10baseT-FD 10baseT.
Able to perform Auto-negotiation, negotiation complete.
Vendor ID is 00:03:9c:--:--:--, model 35 rev. 7.
No specific information is known about this transceiver type.
 I'm advertising 01e1: 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx 10baseT-FD 10baseT
   Advertising no additional info pages.
   IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD protocol.
 Link partner capability is cde1: Flow-control 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx
10baseT-F.
   Negotiation completed.
Monitoring the MII transceiver status.
00:00:21.771 Baseline value of MII BMSR (basic mode status register) is
786d.
Value of MII BMSR (basic mode status register) is 786d.

and now everything is working...

i am pretty sure this is my fault, but i am not sure about how it
happends...

my main hypothesis is that i executed on a telnet terminal of the camera
which had to be executed on a terminal on my pc, when i bought the
dedicated ethernet card (and had to adjust the speed, from there i remember
about non-negotiated stuff... (but this was before have problems with the
streaming...

anyway i need to check a lot of things. seems there is no need to send the
camera anywhere :)
i'll be next days testing all this procedures... and trying to reach flavio
datarates.

thanks again for your help, Oleg and Andrey.
