[Elphel-support] how to increase the frame rate?

I see this on tab no. 4. in the settings menu (it's not a curcle, the
auto exposure radio box is a box). the

when I inclick it, I can only adjust the first bar afterwards. I'm
getting around 5.6 fps

if I check it, I can play with all three bars to set. if I set all to
the exterme right, I can get around 10 fps. CPU load is still very very
low, so it's not a CPU bottleneck

there's a 'Maximal exposure' setting there, which is set to 500ms, but
one cannot edit it :(


as for the previously suggested JP4 setting: if I set it, the whole
image is corrupted in the web preview, and also with mplayer :(


so still, it seems that the limitatio to the frame rate is not the CPU
in the camera. how can one achieve higher framerates?
