Andreas,

With the HDD - I would just try a regular SATA disk - just attach
power to it from a separate from the camera source. Be careful with
SSD - some may be not real, but just adapters that hold a couple of CF
cards. And _most_ CF cards do not work nicely with the camera - they
use the same controller chip that identifies itself as supporting DMA
while it actually does not. And Axis ETRAX FS chip used in the camera
has a problem with UDMA that those CF cards do support.
