I guess it should also be possible to mount the 3Mpix sensor into the 
353/373?

and I agree high "frame" rate is a major feature of linescan, but (as 
quite common) it is not necessarily needed. I for instance am fine with 
a few hundred.
certainly it is a niche, but there are more possible linescan 
applications than photo-finish..
