Dear Andrey,Thank you for your excellent description. I forgot to tell you that the boat is planned to reach a mass production for the near future although our country, Iran, has a monopoly on it. in fact, the boat is produced by order of Marine& ports organization of Iran.I read websites that you suggested, but i have some question:1.what is maximum baseline in this camera?2. can we use this camera in outdoor conditions? or is it waterproof?3. what is angle of view or field of view in each camera?

Thank you for your interest. We have several versions of stereo-cameras, different lenses are possible (that together with the distance between lenses define other parameters you were asking for). The only "constant" part now is the sensor. For both NC353 and new NC393-based cameras it is 5MPix MT9P006 (http://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/MT9P006-D.PDF). With NC393 it is possible to use additionally newer 14 MPix MT9F002 (http://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/MT9F002-D.PDF) - both have the same physical size, just different resolution and 14MPix is significantly less sensitive.

These cameras do not have environmental protection, if you want to mount them outdoors, you will need to have some enclosure to protect them (especially the lenses) from weather conditions.
