[Elphel-support] firmware update 8.0.9.2 to 8.2.16 failed

I was updating my camera firmware 8.0.9.2 to 8.2.16 via the web interface
but I was miss-lead into believing the updated had finished (the
progress bar was at 100%)

I rebooted the camera
I could not access the web-interface 192.168.0.9 :(
check to see if computer/router was on same subnet (computer
192.168.0.101, router 192.168.0.1)
did a broadcast ping ( ping -b 192.168.0.255 ) no answer

so, I start to perform the netboot firmware update, but I cant compile
the firmware because gcc-cris compiler fails to compile:
"[libgcc.a] Aborted (core dumped)"

elphel ppa repo dose not include Ubuntu 14.04.2 trusty


what are my options?
