[Elphel-support] Compiling bug fix for VLC streaming

Hello Eric,

Thank you for making a patch. Do you have Sourceforge account? We'll
provide developer access to the CVS repository.
Most difference in 8.1.x is related to IMU/GPS functionality, but we
did make some minor improvements in other areas also.
