1. "hdparm -I /dev/hda" where "I" - is the capital "i".

2. So, with the "fdisk -l" saying "Disk /dev/hda doesn't contain a valid
partition table". Does it show the hda1 partition from the "fdisk" itself?
I mean - you saw that the partition was created and was saved (at least the
program was saying it had saved it), right?

3.

That's an incorrect command (no need for "/mnt/0"). But first - try running
"fsck /dev/hda1". And even before that we need to have a valid partition
table.
