Yes - you may use our FPGA compressor code as long as your application is compatible with the GNU GPLv3 license ( http://wiki.elphel.com/index.php?title=GNU_GPL_FAQ ). As for documentation - well, it is not complete definitely. You may use the comments in the source code, some of the publications linked/mirrored on our web site (for general overview), and - ask specific questions on this Mailing List.
