[Elphel-support] Aborted as retry counter expired

Some newer observations:

The serial console shows no reboot at the time when "Aborted as retry 
counter expired" occurs. In fact, there has been no reboot whatsoever 
since the last 48 hours or so, using the original camera 12V power 
supply. I was probably wrong in judging when the reboots had actually 
occurred and which of my actions had caused them.

I had once or twice again the alert without a reboot. When the alert 
popped up lighttpd was not functional, although it still existed in the 
process table. Restarting it with

	/etc/init.d/lighttpd restart

brought the server back but also produced some errors:
