I just noticed a page you added:

Have you seen the GStreamer GLSL plugin by Luc Deschenaux :
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=600195 It allows to apply a GLSL
script on a gstreamer pipeline.

GLSL is a more high level than CUDA and is not limited to NVIDIA. OpenCL is
another alternative.
