Robbert,

I would also recommend you to use KDevelop 3.5 with the camera software, now
it seems really easy to install that version on latest (9.10) Kubuntu (
http://wiki.elphel.com/index.php?title=KDevelop ). With the KDevelop project
(generated by a script from the source tree) it is easy to navigate and
document code,  compile/install new programs.
